PHYSICIANS -- Need Your Comments on Single Payer Reform for Senator  Specter - IMPORTANT!

Dear Physicians,

Senator Specter has posted on Sermo (a website / blog site for physicians), and he is requesting input from physicians.  This is one of the first times I have seen any Senator ask for physicians' recommendations on healthcare reform.

Specter is asking for the opinions of physicians on the Sermo site.  Sermo represents a minority of physicians, and a majority of those commenting appear to be against single payer. 

Many of the comments are critical of single payer, non-profit, healthcare. There is protest against any government involvement in healthcare.  I don't think there is more than one post mentioning single payer out of 100s of posts. 

 (We are not promoting Sermo; just trying to balance the discussion and provide support for Single Payer reform, so that Specter doesn't come away with the conclusion that physicians, in general, are against Single Payer and share this with his fellow Senators!)

PLEASE HELP US MAKE SURE Senator Specter HEARS THAT MANY PHYSICIANS DO WANT SINGLE PAYER HEALTHCARE REFORM!  COMMENT NOW AT THE WEBSITE!
