Successful June 22 for HR 676.
On June 22, 125 single payer supporters greeted Secretary of Heath and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, letting her know that San Francisco is a single payer town.  Prior to her Democratic Party Fundraiser, she met with Mayor Gavin Newsom.  We have learned that he told Secretary Sebelius that he was for single payer.
The Mayor's staff let us hang single payer banners on their car that was parked in front of the event.  On June 17, 2008, SF passed a resolution supporting HR 676.
We got media coverage on Channels 2 and 7, and on KPFA.  And a small mention the June 24 SF Chronicle.
