Dear Single Payer Healthcare Activist,

 

On Thurs., May 6, we have a wonderful opportunity to display San Francisco's support for SB 810, the California Universal Healthcare Act.

Assembly Speaker John Perez will be speaking at Tom Ammiano's fundraiser at the Triple Crown at 1772 Market St @ Octavia.

I hope you can wear your single payer t-shirt, hat, or button to Thursday's event.

Some of us will be meeting at 531 Grove St (home of Susan Cieutat) from 4:30 to 5:15, and then walking 4 blocks to the event.  531 Grove is 5 doors west of Octavia.

You can get your hat or shirt at Susan's.

 

The fundraiser costs a minimum of $35.  Many of us spend that amount for our lobbying buss rides to Sacramento.   In this case, the leader of the Assembly is coming to us.  We are currently campaigning for passage of SB 810 in the assembly.
