Dear Single Payer Healthcare Supporter,

 

You are invited to a mailing party on Friday and Saturday from noon to 8pm at the home of Susan Cieutat.  She lives at 531 Grove St in San Francisco.  531 Grove is at the corner of Octavis – 21 Hayes Bus – 5 blocks west of  Civic Center BART and MUNI.

This past Tues and Wed., we sent out 1500 notices, but we have 1500  more to go.

 

We will be sending out notices for our

July 31 San Francisco meeting featuring Claudia Chaufan speaking on Expanding Medicare and Stopping the Wall St attacks on Medicare.  See July 31 leaflet pasted below and attached.

Expand Medicare

Stop Wall St. Attacks on Healthcare

Celebrate Medicare's 45th Anniversary

 

For 45 years, Medicare has provided healthcare to seniors. 

Medicare spends our resources wisely and allows seniors to live with dignity.  We want to expand this program by supporting national legislation that would deliver Medicare to everyone (HR 676).

In California, we campaign for SB 810, the California Universal Healthcare Act.

But Medicare is under attack from Wall St.

A National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform has been selected to weaken Medicare and Social Security.

The Commission is being financed by Wall St. investor Peter Peterson.  You are invited to a discussion on how to protect Medicare and Social Security.
