Doctors, students, and activists report on the recent conferences of Physicians for a National Health Plan and Healthcare Now. 

It is clear that our national healthcare crisis is still on the agenda.  Recently passed legislation does not bring universal healthcare and our resources will still be wasted on unnecessary middlemen – the insurance companies.
