Senate Bill 810, the California Universal Healthcare Act has been reintroduced by Senator Mark Leno. The Senate Health Committee will discuss the bill on Wednesday, April 27.
SB 810 delivers comprehensive care to everyone and spends our money wisely by removing the insurance industry from our lives. They are in business to insure the healthy and avoid the sick.
6 Actions You Can Take in Support of SB 810
Please let us know how you can help.1. Please get your organizations to submit new letters of support, on their letterhead, and send them to Sen. Mark Leno, State Capitol, Room 5100, Sacramento, CA 95814. Let us know if you would like your group to host Single Payer Now presentation on SB 810.
Every single person in the State needs and deserves healthcare that is equal, comprehensive, accessible, affordable, and is cost-effective! Single-Payer, Medicare-for-All healthcare is the only way to do it!
Our only hope of getting the State budget under control is by controlling health costs. Single-Payer, Medicare-for-All care is the only way to do it!2. Send a letter to Senator Ed Hernandez. He is the chair of the Senator Health Committee. Urge him to become a co-author of SB 810. Letters can be sent to Sen. Ed Hernandez, State Capitol, Room 4085; Sacramento, CA 95814
