In the next 4 days we have 3 opportunities to push the healthcare agenda. I hope you can attend, help staff them, and make calls to build them.
Tomorrow, Saturday from 10am to noon, Senator Mark Leno will join James Haslam from Vermont, and Donna Smith featured in Michael Moore's Sicko, to advocate for SB 810.
On Monday, from 7pm to 8:30, the San Francisco Labor Council is hosting a Teach In on the attacks on Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security.
And then on Tuesday at 11:20 President Obama will attend fundraising lunch at the W Hotel in San Francisco. We will have banners that say Californians Want Medicare for All.We encourage you to forward this alert.
Please let us know which events you can attend, which events you can come early to help staff, and if you can make calls to our phone tree. 54% of our members do not have email.
