Protect and Expand Medicare, Medicaid, & Social Security Tuesday 4 to 6pm, July 2 San Francisco's Federal Bldg. At Seventh and Mission We will form a human chain around the Federal Building to protest the proposed cut in Social Security. We will then march to Senator Feinstein's office. Join us on Tuesday July 2 between 4 and 6pm at San Francisco's Federal Building at the corner of Mission and Seventh. That is 2 blocks from the Powell BART stop. Washington DC legislators are trying to give our investments in Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security to the 1%. They want to raise the out of pocket costs for seniors on Medicare and they want to raise the age for Social Security benefits and to reduce its benefits by changing the cost of living formula. We need people to attend, to carry signs, to collect single payer postcards, and to make phone calls to our phone tree. We also encourage you to forward this alert.
