Report from SF's SinglePayerNow ..with photos..

Single Payer Now

Single Payer Now Wants You to Campaign for Medicare for All by Becoming
A Monthly Contributor
Plus Pictures of Our Events of Last 2 weeks

It is simple. Unless we can financially sustain and build the movement for Medicare for All, we will not win. If we can fund out activities, we will win.

We need your help. We need funds for printing, mailing, renting meeting spaces, phones, and organizers. Please consider becoming a monthly contributor.

In the last two weeks, we have been extremely active.

On April 12, 100 activists attended our potluck.  Speakers included Dr. Andy Coates, the president of Physicians for a National Health Program; Ben Day, national Organizing Director for Healthcare Now; Judy Beck, member of SEIU 1021 single payer committee; Ian Lewis, research director of UNITE HERE local 2; and Barry Hermanson, Green Party Candidate for Congress.

On April 13, Dr. John Geyman spoke on the Affordable Care Act and its impending failure to deliver universal healthcare.

On April 20, we showed the Canadian Healthcare Movie.

On April 21, we held a press conference on the steps of San Francisco's City Hall steps with the producers of The Healthcare Movie.

See pictures below.

Again, it is simple, the movement that can fund its activities will make history and succeed.

Thank you.
