We tried something new this year and set up a wiki for our 2014 Single-Payer Strategy Conference, allowing presenters and participants to upload all of their notes, slide shows, photos, and video footage. We'll continue collecting materials from the conference over the next couple of weeks, but already you can find participant notes for almost every workshop and plenary; slideshows and resources from speakers; pictures of the whole conference; and full video of the most important panel of the conference discussing strategy for the single-payer movement. Over 300 activists attended the conference, which included twelve workshops and thirteen plenary presentations. Our annual Strategy Conference is the most important event of the year for shaping Healthcare-NOW!'s organizing work, giving us a window on what patients and providers are experiencing in the wake of the ACA, and letting us learn about the innovative tactics and strategies local groups are pursuing across the country. For the first time you can see all of this for yourself. We hope it proves to be a great new resource! In solidarity for single-payer, Ben, Jeff, and Zoraida Healthcare-NOW! National Staff Healthcare-NOW! is a grassroots organization that addresses the health insurance crisis in the U.S. by educating and advocating for the passage of expanded and improved Medicare-for-all legislation, such as HR 676.
