Dear Healthcare Activist,

 

You are invited to three single payer educational events this week.

We encourage the forwarding of this alert.

We always need help calling our phone tree as 50% of our activists do not have emails.

 

__ On July 7, Tuesday, at 7pm, I plan to attend the Potrero Hill Dem Club panel discussion on national health care reform.  Representatives Organizing for America (formerly Obama for America) and Single Payer Now and others.  Potrero Hill Neighborhood House, 953 De Haro @ Southern Heights. 

 

The next two educationals were previously announced with the wrong address.

We had announced they were at 28 Prospect.  We meant to write 28 Prosper.

 

__On July 8, Wed, at 6:30, I plan to attend a class on California's SB 810 and the national single payer legislation, HR 676, at the home of Cory Ross at 28 Prosper btw 16^th & 17^th and btw Noe & Sanchez.  There will be a follow up class on July 15 on the strategies and politics of the single payer movement.

 

__ On July 9, Thursday, at 6:30 I plan to attend a class on International

Healthcare and the Public Option featuring Claudia Chaufan, MD, PhD, Vice President of the California Physicians Alliance and Assistant Professor of Health Policy at UCSF.  Her presentation draws from the international experience to evaluate healthcare reform proposals in the United States.  This is a repeat of our June 10 meeting which got rave reviews.  28 Prosper St btw 16^th & 17^th in San Francisco
