Help Collect HR 676 Postcards to Obama
 
Dear Single Payer Activist,
 
I hope you can rally with us in Washington, DC on Thursday, July 30.  We will lobby and rally for HR 676, the US National Healthcare Act on the 44thanniversary of Medicare?
Now is the time to mobilize for a national healthcare system.  Let's build a sizable California contingent.

Can you help us collect single payer postcards addressed to Obama?  On July 30, we will deliver them to Congress Member John Conyers Jr. for delivery to President Obama.

Free DC housing is being co-coordinated by Laurie Wen at lauriewen@aol.com     
Days Inn in Alexandria has rooms for $73.  (703-521-5570)  It is a 1 & 1/2 walk to subway.
Airfares can be found for under $400. 
The local airport DCA has no direct flights, but has the advantage of being linked to the subway.  IAD is about 35 miles away and has non-stop flights.
 
I hope you can attend or help collect single payer cards to Obama.
