Thank you to all of you who have already answered our call to take to the streets our demand to raise taxes on the rich -- not the retirement age -- and pass improved Medicare-for-all! Below is a list of the events that are already planned to defend Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security and/or to promote single-payer. More are being planned, and we'll continue to send you those updates as we get them.

If none of these events are near you, you can still email and call Congress here.

If you'd like to plan an event, let us know. Also, we put together some materials for you if you'd like to visit your Representative's office including a letter, some polling data, and a petition.

Protect Medicare - Don't Let the 1% Steal our Social Investments

The California Alliance for Retired Americans, and Gray Panthers are holding a FLASH MOB, this Friday, December 7th at 11:30am to protest deficit reduction through cuts to Medicare, Medicaid and other essential benefits. The FLASH MOB will be occurring at the Federal Building Plaza at 7th and Mission Streets in San Francisco. Come at 11:30 to practice flash mob routine. We will be filmed at noon.
